The Occupier Solutions Team represented corporate portfolio client IAT Insurance Group in their national HQ assessment and relocation project.
Along with workplace management services, the team negotiated the relocation of IAT’s 200+ employees into Tower 4 at North Hills as the lead kickoff tenant.
Challenges
Years of organic growth within one building left IAT with multiple business units across four individual floorplates and a lack of free flowing, collaborative office space.
As the national HQ and hub for employee training, IAT corporate desired an upgrade to their Raleigh office space and layout to modern design standards while still providing the walkable location and amenity-heavy surroundings IAT employees were accustomed to.
Results
The Occupier Solutions team led a multi, year-long market study of existing and upcoming developments suited for a modern corporate headquarters that focused on density and accessibility.
North Hills mixed use development was selected as the ideal location for IAT’s HQ with their marquee amenities, parking density and walkable retail.
As a two-floor kickoff tenant in North Hill’s newest tower, IAT was able to attain an efficient and modern office design as well as building top signage amongst some Raleigh’s largest HQ’s (Bank of America, Captrust, Advance Auto Parts, etc).
