Lazarus relocates HQ to 33 Arch Street with 6,885-sf sublease arranged by Avison Young  November 6, 2024

Boston, MA – Global commercial real estate advisor Avison Young has arranged a 6,885-square-foot (sf) sublease on behalf of Lazarus, an enterprise-grade foundation model company, at 33 Arch Street in Boston, MA, from sublandlord Evoke Mind + Matter. The company moves from a flexible office space in Kendall Square into its new location at 33 Arch Street.  It is the company’s first dedicated office space since its inception and it will serve as a headquarters for the company’s employees as they continue to scale and expand in the market.  

Lazarus was represented by Kirk Weller, Senior Vice President, based in Avison Young’s Boston office. JLL’s Katie Bailey and Will Foley represented sublandlord Evoke Mind + Matter.  

“In Boston, over half a million square feet of sublease space has come off the market in the first half of 2024 and tenants and subtenants continue to flock to top-tier product, especially to space on the sublease market, which is usually move-in ready space with below-market economics,” said Weller. “Lazarus’ move into the space at 33 Arch Street will enable them to bring their employees into a single location which provides ample room for growth and collaboration as they evolve to serve their expanding client base.”  

33 Arch Street is a 603,290-sf office building situated in Boston’s Financial District. The 33-story class A property includes tenant amenities including a fitness center, bicycle storage, conference facilities, a restaurant, and on-site parking and is accessible from all major rail and subway commuter lines. Lazarus’ new space came newly built-out and fully furnished.
