VC/PE Funding in Life Sciences across Greater Philadelphia still at record high

•  Philadelphia’s strong reputation across the life sciences sector continues to draw interest by VC/PE firms, typically leading to an increase in life science leasing activity.

 

•  VC/PE funding for life sciences in Philadelphia today remains at a record high. Total funding by VC/PE in just past four years surpassed the prior ten years of VC/PE funding combined, currently up 6%. From 2010-2019 total funding came in at $10.1B , compared to $10.7B since 2020.
