- Although job postings from February 2020 through March 2023 have increased 21%, metro Atlanta’s economy remains stable with a current unemployment rate of 3.1%.
- During the same February through March time period, the education industry has seen the largest increase in job postings at 98%. However, as the tech industry continues to see layoffs, job postings in Atlanta are down 14%.
- Office-using job postings are up 3% from February 2020 through March 2023, industrial-using postings are up 27%, and retail-using postings have increased 54%, which supports the activity seen across the commercial real estate market.
