New multifamily deliveries across DC, Maryland, and Virginia

2024 will see the largest amount of multifamily deliveries in the past five years. When coupled with the increase of market rents, this is a good sign for renters looking to find either higher quality, or better pricings in their housing search. Not only will 2024 be the highest delivery of units across the DMV, it will be the highest for all of Washington DC, Suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia, individually. Suburban Maryland has the highest increase in deliveries across the three markets, with a staggering 260% increase in delivered units, year over year.
