New Jersey office busyness increases year-over-year

- Overall office use has increased in New Jersey year-over-year (y-o-y) by 6%.
- Monday has seen the largest increase in activity with a 44.3% increase in busyness y-o-y. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday have all seen busyness increase slightly. Friday is the only day of the week which saw less busyness year-over-year, experiencing a 12.9% decrease.
- Many companies continue to mandate in-person attendance for at least part of the week, the aforementioned statistics suggest that employees are front loading their work weeks in order to meet that mandate.
- Since September of 2019, and the subsequent onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, office busyness has decreased by 35.3% overall. However, September of 2024 saw an increase of 3.7% in busyness over September of 2023.
