Nashville mall foot traffic sees resurgence post pandemic
Last year’s ongoing inflation brought a unique set of challenges to retailers’ brick and mortar spaces who are still recovering from the pandemic’s impact. However, years of record-setting population growth across Nashville and unwavering consumer confidence throughout the market have benefited retailers in the area, allowing them to see an impressive resurgence in visitation. Nearly all the regional malls in the Nashville area have reached >90% of their pre-pandemic foot traffic. Recovery is most evident in malls that offer a diversity of experience (Opry Mills), mixed-use community (One Bellevue Place) and cater to high-income shoppers (The Mall of Green Hills).
