Fairfield County office busyness sees a post-Labor Day push

According to Avison Young’s Office Busyness Index, offices across Fairfield County have seen year-over-year increases in busyness every year since September 2020.

From September 2020 to September 2021 office busyness increased by 60.2%, the largest year-over-year increase post-Covid. From September 2020 to September 2024, it has grown by 171.9%.

This continual trend of increased busyness is a sign of stabilized return-to-office policies as well as confidence of occupiers in their lease commitments.
