Across Greater Philadelphia, offices in urban locations have seen the highest rate of visitation following the pandemic

Throughout the Greater Philadelphia office market, offices located in urban areas are seeing the greatest amount of employee visitation compared to their counterparts in more suburban and rural locations. Offices located in urban settings currently lead the pack, with visitor volume reaching 61% of the visitor volume seen before the onset of the pandemic.

Office properties in suburban areas are not terribly far behind those in urban areas, currently sitting at 55.9%, and offices in suburban-urban areas (E.g., the Conshohocken submarket) are at 50.5% of their pre-pandemic levels of visitation, respectively.

The weakest recovery in office visitation has taken place in rural areas of Greater Philadelphia, with visitation levels reaching just 34.6% of the volume seen before the pandemic.
