As Associate Director, Wendy provides management services for the Charlotte portfolio of managed properties with a focus on providing excellent service to owners and tenants. Her duties include tenant relations and retention, oversight of the financial performance of the assets, budget preparation, monthly reporting, contract and risk management, daily property operations, construction management and vendor oversight.

Wendy has over twenty years experience in commercial real estate management, including class A high-rise, suburban office, mixed-use, industrial, retail, residential and office master associations. Her industry experience includes general property management, corporate real estate management, full service management for owner occupied properties and institutional owners, financial planning, construction project management, capital improvements and an in-depth knowledge of the Charlotte market.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Wendy was a Senior Property Manager and was responsible for a mixed-use project from construction to completion including all first generation build-outs. Wendy was instrumental in the property achieving LEED® Gold certification in its fifth year. Wendy has also managed 2.5 million square feet of diverse industrial property for Deutsche Bank (RREEF) where she managed the financial planning, construction projects, capital improvements, environmental issues and operating expense budgets.

Wendy has worked with the Charlotte USGBC for over four years, serving as Treasurer of the Charlotte Board and as a member of the North Carolina USGBC Financial Board. Wendy also serves on the leadership committee with CREW Charlotte.
