Thomas is a Principal with Avison Young’s Occupier Solutions team and specializes in national and global corporate clients as well as growth stage companies in their leasing and real estate portfolio needs. Thomas’ expertise spans consulting, occupier services, corporate transaction and portfolio management. He has managed hundreds of transactions totaling over three million square feet and valued at more than $400 million in the Triangle market and across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Thomas is a fourth generation North Carolinian, a Raleigh native and a University of North Carolina graduate who brings deep experience and insight on the Triangle and professional communities. He is active in Raleigh civic and industry organizations serving as a Wake County Economic Development Digital Ambassador, as well as board and committee member of the NC Museum of History, CoreNet Global and the National Association of Commercial Real Estate Development.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Thomas was a Senior Vice President at a top 5 commercial real estate firm where he provided real estate solutions for tenants and occupiers.

Thomas and his wife, Iraida, reside in Raleigh with their two sons. He is a competitive tennis player with the USTA and enjoys traveling, bird hunting and fox hunting with the Moore County Hounds.
