Professional Profile

Nick leads product development for global innovation projects at Avison Young, based in Washington, DC. He joined Avison Young’s Innovation Team in 2019 to focus on the future of commercial real estate service, combining data, analytics, and technology to increase transparency in our cities and improve real estate outcomes of our clients. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, he worked at JLL where he architected and led deployment of the primary data platform, analytical product suite and proprietary 3D geospatial intelligence tool, and he managed the data visualization and analytics team across North America. Nick began his career in product development at SNL Financial, part of S&P Global Market Intelligence, where he developed custom banking intelligence software and international financial software products.

He is active in the retail real estate industry as an investor and occupier, focused on community-building and small business development in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia.
