Evan Sassaman is a driven, results-oriented Senior Vice President with Avison-Young in Raleigh, North Carolina. He advises clients in their acquisition, disposition, and leasing needs with a focus on industrial properties, land development as it pertains to industrial property, and retail opportunities. Since 2021, Evan has executed over 60 industrial and retail transactions, with more than $30M achieved volume in 2022 & 2023. Of note, several of his recent transactions pertained to the sale of a 103,000 sf cGMP manufacturing facility (Wilmington) and a 28-acre tract for speculative cGMP development (Morrisville). With a genuine passion for the CRE industry, Evan thrives in-person and on-site with clients and brokers alike. He is known for being competitive but fair in his work.

Evan is currently pursuing his Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) at Auburn University. His studies include commercial real estate finance, architecture, planning, construction, law, and market analysis. He travels and meets nationally with other leaders in the construction, development, private equity, and brokerage industries, further strengthening his global network. Evan is also a proud Elon University graduate where he studied Strategic Communications and achieved Dean’s List.

Evan is no stranger to the art of the deal and working with high-profile accounts; his previous accomplishments include work pertaining to crisis communications, brand and product ideation, product launches, and large-scale event management in the food & beverage, technology, financial services, and real estate industries.

In his free time, Evan is often found outside and away from a computer screen. He especially enjoys attending Carolina Hurricanes games, country music concerts; and spending weekends with his girlfriend, Annabelle and their families in Pinehurst, NC and Hershey, PA. Evan is frequently cited for his tenacity, interpersonal skills, and thoughtfulness. He has two dogs, Olivia and Grace. Evan has lived in New York City, London, and currently resides in Raleigh. His formative years were spent in Bedford and Hershey, Pennsylvania.
