Ethan Harvey joined the Commercial Real Estate industry in the summer of 2023 as an Associate Broker in Avison Young’s Chicago office. Harvey’s experience thus far has been quite diverse, representing office tenants in the non-profit, technology, and medical sectors. Harvey has advised small startup companies on coworking opportunities as well as large fortune 500 firms negotiate leases in premier buildings in Chicago’s Central Business District. Harvey’s focus is on helping office tenants navigate the complexities of the Chicago office market regarding landlord financial turmoil and modern-day workplace strategy.

In addition to office brokerage, Harvey also operates in life science and retail leasing. Harvey actively assists the leasing of Innovation & Research Park- a 100,000 SF Life Science Wet Lab facility in North Chicago, IL. On the retail side, Harvey successfully represents landlords and tenants in occupying space to their highest and best use. He has boutique, luxury retail experience in the Langham Hotel and currently works with freestanding assets throughout the city. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Harvey holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate and law, Ethics, and Decision Making (LEAD) from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
