Avison Young brings Classic Car Club to 645 11th Avenue, delivering new automotive life to former Toyota dealership
June 26, 2024New York, NY – Avison Young announces the successful completion of a 20-year deal which will relocate Classic Car Club (CCC), the famed private automotive club in Manhattan, to a new flagship clubhouse. CCC’s new space will span more than 60,000-squarefeet (sf) across four floors and roof of an historic former automotive dealership located at 645 11th Avenue.
CCC was represented by Peter Gross, Principal, based in Avison Young’s New York City office. Ian Lester, Esq., a founding partner of Lester Shaw & Levy LLP, provided legal representation for CCC in the lease negotiation. Bram Auto Group, the property’s owner, was represented by Ripco Real Estate.
“Given the uniqueness and one-of-a-kind experience the Classic Car Club provides to its members and the multiple use groups it requires as an occupier, our primary objective was to find the right fit not just from a physical standpoint, but with an owner who understood the exceptional opportunity the Club brings to their property,” said Gross. “This deal brings two amazing groups together that share a dynamic synergy which extends far beyond that of a typical owner and occupier relationship.”
At 645 11th Avenue, CCC will introduce a new portfolio of member amenities, including collector car storage accommodations, co-working facilities, an expended open kitchen, private meeting and dining rooms, lounge space, event spaces, and a fully- designed rooftop equipped with gardens, outdoor dining, and additional amenities.
“Since its inception in London in 1995, Classic Car Club has been providing its members with incredible automotive experiences and adventures they would not be able to have otherwise”, said Phil Kavanagh, CCC CEO. “We’re excited to launch our new clubhouse where we can indulge our members with new a clubhouse and hospitality of the highest standards.”
In addition to CCC, 645 11th Avenue will also become the home to Ineos Grenadier and Hell’s Kitchen Supercars. “We couldn’t be happier about getting our deal with CCC to the finish line and getting the opportunity to co-exist inside the club with two new and unique automotive experiences,” said John Iacono of BRAM Auto Group. “Together, CCC, Ineos, and Hell’s Kitchen Supercars will bring a new automotive culture and excitement to New York’s auto row.”
