Avison Young welcomes Springfield-based leaders to its 2023 Principal Class
Alyssa Wright, Mike MacDonald, and Cody Baldwin join the 700+ Principals guiding the strategy of one of the leading global commercial real estate firms
Springfield, NJ – Avison Young is pleased to announce that Alyssa Wright, Mike MacDonald, and Cody Baldwin have been named Principals based in the firm’s Springfield, New Jersey office.Wright, MacDonald, and Baldwin join more than 27 principals that are being honored as part of the Avison Young Principal Class of 2023. Avison Young is a principal-led, people-first firm with more than 700 Principals across the globe. As a private company, these Principals are industry leaders who exemplify the partnership structure, collaborative culture, and client-first mentality.
Wright, MacDonald, and Baldwin joined Avison Young a year ago with the Studio Eagle acquisition and deliver integrated design and construction delivery services for both occupiers and investors.

Wright serves as Director, Construction for Studio Project Services, and has 20 years of experience managing corporate office, pharmaceutical, lab, industrial and manufacturing related projects. Wright currently spearheads Avison Young’s Studio Project Services construction department. From project inception through move in, Wright is part of each step of Avison Young’s client’s-built projects, keeping them on budget and on time.
MacDonald serves as Senior Director, Pre-Construction for Studio Project Services and has 20+ years of demonstrated experience in architecture and construction. In this role, MacDonald provides leadership and expertise in project management, cost estimating and consulting, quantity surveying, BIM/VDC management, design documentation, and construction execution and management, and contract administration. Macdonald coordinates design and construction teams on every detail, from strategy to delivery, to keep budget, scope, and timeline intact while striving for a seamless transition into delivery.
Baldwin serves as Director, Design for Studio Project Services, and has 15+ years of experience in the field of architecture and design encompassing a wide variety of typologies. With a forward-thinking mindset and expertise in design and code, Baldwin partners with clients to make better-informed decisions, ultimately leading to a space that supports their business and exceeds their expectations.
