Mitch Stokes will serve as Principal in firm’s West Los Angeles office

Los Angeles CA – Avison Young today announces the addition of Mitch Stokes  as Principal, based in the firm’s West Los Angeles office. Stokes assists landlords and tenants in the lease-up and sale of office and retail properties throughout Southern California.

Over his 34-year career, Stokes has executed more than $1 billion of lease and sales transactions representing tenants and landlords involving more than five million square feet of space. His clients include institutional landlords, regional and local commercial developers and numerous regional and national tenants.

“Mitch was a strategic hire for Avison Young’s Southern California region, providing  a high level of expertise and market momentum to further our growth,” said Chris Cooper, Principal & Managing Director – Southern California. “He serves a critical role by expanding our institutional Real Estate Management Services (REMS) portfolio into agency leasing mandates and provides an increased level of investment sales experience for the West L.A. office.”

Stokes joins Avison Young from Madison Partners’ West Los Angeles office, where he served as a Senior Executive Director and was a top broker within the submarket.
