September 21, 2022Randy Comish and Brock Tupper bring 25 years of combined leadership experience
Toronto, ON – Global real estate advisor Avison Young announces the appointment of Randy Comish and Brock Tupper to lead the firm’s flexible solutions practice in Canada.
“There is tremendous value in having Canadian-based leaders on the flexible solutions team,” says Mark Fieder, Principal and President of Avison Young in Canada. “Together, Randy and Brock will bring unmatched knowledge and relationships to our internal stakeholders as well as to our clients – and I very much look forward to their expansion of the business in our Canadian marketplace, building upon the successes of the teams in the U.S. and in the U.K., with whom they will work very closely.”
Based in Toronto, Comish and Tupper will partner with Avison Young’s established tenant representation, leasing and investment teams to identify new ways to support enterprise occupiers, institutional owners and flexible operators via consultative and transactional services in a constantly changing marketplace. Both Comish and Tupper will focus on Canadian markets, promoting insights and education while specializing in supporting global occupier engagements as part of Avison Young’s global flexible solutions Center of Excellence, led by Charlie Morris, Practice Leader, Flexible Office Solutions, Avison Young.
Collectively, Comish and Tupper bring almost 25 years of experience, having previously worked with IWG, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, including recognizable brands such as Regus & Spaces. During his 15-year career at IWG, Comish served in various sales and management capacities, most recently leading both the sales and operations for IWG's 134 Canadian locations across three million square feet. Over a nine-year career at IWG, Tupper worked his way from an Area Sales Manager to Director of Workplace Strategy before most recently serving as a core member of their global sales team, helping champion the evolution of large enterprise needs worldwide.
“I’m excited to leverage my past industry experiences to a broader audience via Avison Young’s unique service offering,” says Randy Comish, Vice President, Flexible Office Solutions, Avison Young. “Our access to technology is unparalleled and will be a true differentiator.”
“Joining Avison Young was an easy decision for me because the firm shares my focus on identifying why and how occupiers need to leverage flex as a critical component of their portfolio strategy,” says Brock Tupper, Vice President, Flexible Office Solutions, Avison Young. “Putting client needs first will always remain a key shared priority.”
