Avison Young’s Las Vegas office grows retail team; names Hillary Steinberg as Vice President and Corina Towle as Senior Associate
August 1, 2022Las Vegas, NV – David Jewkes, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Las Vegas office, today announced that the office has grown its retail brokerage team with the hiring of Vice President Hillary Steinberg and Senior Associate Corina Towle. The duo comes to Avison Young from the Las Vegas office of MDL Group.
“We are excited to have Hillary and Corina join Avison Young,” said Jewkes. “They have stellar reputations and a substantial market share throughout the greater Las Vegas region. With a focus on retail leasing on the landlord side, they represent a significant number of retail listings. They both have a very collaborative business methodology that will benefit Avison Young’s position in our local market and will create additional benefits for our clients and business lines here.”
Steinberg specializes in landlord representation, tenant representation, and investment sales for multi-tenant shopping centers and single-tenant assets throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. She began her career at Homart Development Company, a subsidiary of Sears, one of the largest builders of shopping centers in the United States, purchased by General Growth Properties in 1994. Her property portfolio included regional shopping centers, high-rise office buildings and ground-up development.
Towle specializes in landlord and tenant representation for retail. She has helped clients from an array of industries including restaurants, governmental agencies, and clothing retailers to secure locations. She is currently the Co-Chair of the Events Committee for Vegas Young Professionals: an organization through the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce dedicated to identifying, engaging, developing, and connecting future leaders. She graduated from UNR with a BA degree in Psychology with concentrations on Politics, Ethics, and Law.
“While only being here a short time, we have already been reaping the benefits of Avison Young’s significant national and international exposure, top tier marketing tools, innovative technology resources and collaborative culture to build new opportunities,” said Steinberg. “Support from within is one of the main reasons Corina and I were attracted to the firm, and we are looking forward to utilizing all of its support and tools to better empower us to serve our valued clients.”
