Todd Korren represented New York City REIT in the negotiations in addition to directly sourcing the tenant

New York – Avison Young announced today that its New York office has arranged a new office lease at 123 William Street with Bisnow, one of the commercial real estate industry’s leading digital media platforms. Bisnow inked a new 7,801-square-foot (sf) lease for part of the 15th floor of the class A FiDi office tower.

Todd Korren, a Principal in Avison Young’s New York City office, represented the landlord New York City REIT (NYSE:NYC), a publicly traded real estate investment trust, in the negotiations in addition to sourcing the tenant.  As the exclusive leasing agent for 123 William Street, Korren and team have closed and are actively negotiating approximately 136,000 sf of new leases and renewals in the building.

“We were able to structure a new lease with Bisnow for a pre-built space on the 15th floor of the building prior to the lease expiration of the previous tenant,” said Korren.  “This lease represents a reoccurring trend of occupiers shifting away from raw space and seeking private, turn-key offices with flexible terms to accommodate growth.”

123 William Street is a 27-story class A office tower in the heart of Lower Manhattan. The building’s prime location between the South Street Seaport and World Trade Center coupled with its recently completed capital improvements have positioned the property as a hub for TAMI, Financial, Legal and Non-Profit organizations. 123 William Street offers immediate access to 11 subway lines via the Fulton Street Transit Center, the PATH and ferries to New York and New Jersey.
