Avison Young bring Leeds warehouse to the market
March 15, 2021Acting on behalf of landlord Treanor Pujol, Avison Young has brought the 44,744sq ft Cube Shed to the market at Intermezzo Drive, Stourton.
The unit is due to soon be vacated by the current tenant and benefits from excellent access to the M621 and M1 motorways.
The eaves height is 8.9m and there is craneage throughout both bays, a feature that can be difficult to find in modern units.
Rob Oliver, principal at Avison Young’s Leeds office said: "This is a rare opportunity to secure a modern high bay unit with craneage and a large yard, which suits both production and distribution use.
"In addition to the shed, there is a further 2-acre open storage plot adjacent, which can be leased with it. We are already talking to local Leeds companies about the property, recognising its unique characteristics and indeed the shortage of quality second-hand premises available in the area."
He added "Whilst the growth in last mile and online deliveries has been substantial and well documented, the occupier market in the area is much more diverse and active than just that sector, with plenty of other sectors and companies experiencing growth, both in distribution and manufacturing.
"On the manufacturing side, we are starting to see some enquiries driven by supply chain concerns, and a desire to shrink and reduce these, in the interests of continuity and certainty. We hope this continues and will generate further economic activity in the area."
