Avison Young negotiates 10-year lease on behalf of Eagle Community Credit Union in Anaheim, CA
October 8, 2020Los Angeles, CA – Avison Young has announced it has negotiated a 2,800 square-foot (sf), 10-year lease on behalf of Eagle Community Credit Union (Eagle) in Anaheim, CA. The property is located at 2310-A E. Lincoln Avenue and is within the 372,185-sf Anaheim Town Square shopping center at the corner of State College and Lincoln Avenue.
Avison Young Principal Hayden Eaves along with Kristen Sullivan, who are based out of the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office, represented Eagle. The landlord, NewMark Merrill Companies, was represented in-house by Greg Giacopuzzi.
The location was formerly occupied by Opus Bank. Eagle was able to create a new store location and reuse the existing vault. Anaheim Town Square provides a strong draw for the newest Eagle store as the center offers a diverse mix of national retailers including Target, Northgate Market, Ross Dress for Less, 99 Cent Only Store, Sally Beauty Supply, Burger King, WaBa Grill, Togo’s, and Pep Boys Auto, among others.
“Eagle relocated to Anaheim from its former Placentia location,” said Sullivan. “Eagle utilized Avison Young’s analytic mapping to show the membership migration centralizing in the Anaheim trade area. This new location provides excellent visibility, signage, and exclusive parking stalls all within a high-traffic, multi-anchored shopping center. The ability to add a potential drive-thru along with the other benefits provides Eagle with an opportunity to increase membership.”
Eagle recently opened this Anaheim location and now has a total of six branches from north to south Orange County including 11 ATMs. Eagle is committed to helping members improve their financial well-being through quality products, service excellence and member satisfaction. Established in 1937 as a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, anyone living, working, worshiping, or attending school in Orange County, CA can join Eagle. “I’d like to thank both Kristen and Hayden for their patience, information, and dedication in locating the best possible space for our Eagle Community Credit Union relocation,” said Eagle CEO Scott Rains. “Moving from a largely industrial area of Placentia into a safe, easily accessible shopping center in bustling Anaheim allows us to better serve the people of Orange County while fulfilling our mission of bringing value added financial services to all within our community.”
Albert Herrera, Eagle Branch Manager remarked, “The team at Avison Young made our dream of moving to a higher visibility location a reality. Since opening our doors, we are seeing an increase in new accounts and loan applications. We love seeing the looks on our existing members’ faces when they see this beautiful location for the first time.”
