Avison Young negotiates 11,970-sf office lease on behalf of UHY

Houston, TX – Avison Young announced today it has negotiated a long-term, 11,970-square-foot (sf) office lease on behalf of its client, UHY. The space is located at 1177 West Loop South in Houston, TX.

Avison Young Principals, Anthony Squillante and Dustin Devine, who are out of the firm’s Houston office, represented the tenant. The landlord, Hicks Ventures, was represented by Senior Vice President, Kelli Gault, and Executive Managing Director, Doug Little, of Transwestern. 
UHY is one of the nation’s largest professional services firms providing audit, tax, consulting and advisory services to clients primarily in the middle market. The firm is growing its presence in the Houston market which has resulted in the move to 1177 West Loop South. The company was previously occupying 8,158-sf at 10613 West Sam Houston Parkway North.

“UHY selected 1177 West Loop South because it has great ingress/egress by virtue of its location on Loop 610 and the ability to access I-10 quickly. Also, in addition to wonderful building amenities like a conferencing center, fitness center, and a deli, the property is located very close to Uptown Park, thus providing our client’s team members access to numerous dining options,” said Squillante.
