Baxter is a Principal with Avison Young’s Occupier Solutions team and specializes in corporate relocations and expansions, lease analysis, site evaluation, tenant representation, owner representation, land acquisitions and land sales. Navigating through the site selection process can be tricky waters for a business, whether it is seeking a space to lease, building to purchase, or land to develop. Baxter uses his many years of experience to educate clients on how to choose the best options during these transitions.
Baxter has completed more than 1000 transactions in the North Carolina market from dispositions and acquisitions to build-to-suit and headquarters relocations, leveraging his experience across a wide variety of sectors, including office, industrial, retail, mixed-use and urban and suburban residential. Baxter actively seeks opportunities within the Life Science / BioTech sector in North Carolina to assist his clients with reaching their business objectives. Notable clients including RoviSys, ReMax United, Envista Forensics, ICL, Hill-Rom, Cellectis and other local occupiers.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Baxter was Executive Vice President with Colliers in their Raleigh-Durham office where he provided real estate solutions for tenants and occupiers for more than 16 years. While there, Baxter received both the Everest Club and Raleigh-Durham Top Producer awards in 2018.
An East Carolina University graduate, Baxter is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and has achieved the SIOR designation.
